Cemetery

The cemetery has ben owned and operated by the parish council since the first burial on August 2nd 1897 and the council welcomes all visitors. For information contact the parish clerk.  We ask you please to respect the peace, dignity and reverence of the site. The following regulations are intended to create a harmonious environment, and to ensure that the cemetery is maintained in good and safe order for very many years to come.  Special care should be taken when walking between the burial plots as the ground can be uneven.

If you identify a hazard please report this to the Parish Clerk.

Although the cemetery is never locked we recommend, on the grounds of safety, that visitors do not enter during the hours of darkness. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the cemetery except under the care and supervision of a responsible adult.

Dogs, except guide dogs, are not permitted.

A plan of the Cemetery showing the situation of each grave, with the Register of Burials, is kept at the office of the Parish Clerk to where all enquiries should be made.

The cemetery is administered by the Parish Council. For information see links below or contact the Parish Clerk.
