Granby No 22 bus

Granby and Sutton is serviced by 2 buses:

Daytime buses to Nottingham

The No 22 runs pretty much every hour during the day. It turns around at Sutton, and comes through Granby, on the way to Nottingham. It takes around an hour to get to Nottingham. You can catch the bus from the main road in Sutton, or on Main Street in Granby. The bus times are printed on the bus-stop, or you can find a full timetable here:

Evening buses to Nottingham

No 53E – this serves Granby in the evenings, on a request basis. You need to travel via Bingham, using the Red1 bus service between Nottingham and Bingham Market Place. This then links with the 53E service.

How does it work?

The evening service between Nottingham and Bingham is the Red1. When the Red1 arrives in Bingham, it changes to the 53E and does the circuit of the villages (see below). It then changes back to the Red1 on arrival in Bingham, to return to Nottingham. So, as it’s the same bus, there’s no danger of missing the connection!

Here’s a summary of the timetable:

Note: ‘R’ means the bus will stop on request only – so please tell the driver where you want to get off.
