When: First Saturday of every month
Where: Granby Village Hall
The Coffee Shop and Book Swap is held on the first Saturday of each month between 10am and 11-45 am. It continues to be well supported by between 20 and 30 villagers. Since we started we have raised over £600-00 which we have used to buy coffee mugs for the village hall, a bookcase for our book swap and a grit bin for outside the hall.
Please join us and take the opportunity to get to know your neighbours, have a piece of cake, and find out what’s going on in the village.
And don’t forget to bring any books you’d like to swap.
Annual Parish Meeting report 2011-2012 – Mrs G James.
The Coffee shop & Book Swap is held on the first Saturday of each month between 10 am and 11.45 am. It continues to be well supported by between 20 and 30 villagers. The book exchange and card sales table have been a popular feature of the morning. This year we have used the money raised to purchase a grit bin and current funds will go towards new chairs for the village hall. The money provides an opportunity for residents to meet to chat as well as providing a means of communicating information about events which are due to take place in the village.
