Walking Group
Report to the Annual parish meeting 2011-2012
The walking group continues to walk on the third Sunday of each month. We take it in turns to select a circular route, making sure that we end up near a local hostelry that serves good ales and Sunday lunch. Typically each walk is between 4 and 6 miles and we usually stay in the Vale of Belvoir although this past year we have also had walks further a field.
There is a core of membership that has been there from the start but we welcome new members to any of our walks. The weather continues to be kind to us and we have rarely, if ever, got wet. I have to report that the group is no further on with producing a local footpath guide but this year could be the year it finally materialises. (there are 14 footpaths around Granby and Sutton).

Regular monthly walks
The monthly Sunday morning walk has proved very popular, and well attended. Everyone is welcome to come along to as many or as few of the walks as you wish. And feel free to bring your dog with you! As you can see from the photo… you won’t be alone.
