Annual Parish Meeting rport 2011-2012 – Mrs E Howard

Some excellent well attended meetings with good speakers. In the winter months meetings are held in the Village Hall 7 for 3 of the summer months we have outdoor events. In 2011 the summer supper was held at the Old Vicarage by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Barge. A walk & ploughman’s supper was at Dove Cottage Hospice tearoom.

The AGM with supper & jewellery action (silent) was at Mr & Mrs Castledines home. A successful fashion show was held in the Village Hall in October. This was well supported by members & visitors. We have approximately 34 members who enjoy a speaker or demonstration on the 4^th Thursday of the month plus a glass of wine & a raffle.
